Dream boat, Photography, 2022
In the past three years, under COVID-19, people were locked down at home. Home was transformed into a bed, a dream boat for me. This project depicts the intense relationship between two individuals who were 'forced' to stay together twenty-four hours every day. It also implied the conflict between the inner and outer self. People tried to find peace and a sense of security within the dream boat, and fantasised about the post-catastrophe future. The external world became estranged and unrealistic. Will there be a brand new lifestyle in the future? How can we reconstruct our life and interaction with reality?
