The door (2002)
A patient who suffers from chronic disease for a long time, begins to get used to, accepts the disease, and learns to observe and reflect on the disease itself. It starts from enjoying and considering the complicated perceptions caused by the disease, like the process of personal alienation. Absurbing energy in the rumination of pain.  Project an objective understanding of things and oneself.

The search for the shape of the self implies a change of position. The self under adventure is an alien who has been discarded into the body, passively exploring the chaotic world through perception. To reach the self in the perfect tense, one must enter the unknown and analyze frequently the authentic motives behind one's choices and behaviors. The answers will eventually point to the self.

An idolatry triggered by an oppressive fear, like Stockholm Syndrome, can't tell the difference between extreme fear and genuine adoration. What lies behind the metaphor of the grimace or mask can only be caught when looking at the eyes firmly with an absolute determination.
